| #2 | 5% | 3–30% | +0.9% | |

- Why Human: Ruthless, +2% crit that is always on. It beats the Night elf's 15-second burst in any fight longer than about 1 min 30 s.
- If damage-over-time can't crit in WoW Forever, Human wins just over half: 52%, Night elf 30%, Gnome 18%. We test it on launch day.
- How much it matters: about 1.7% more damage. Pick what you love.

Gnome wins 8 in 10 of our 10,000 simulated raid fights (79%).
| Place | Race | Scenarios won | Range | Racial worth |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| #1 | 79% | 52–84% | +3.4% | |
| #2 | 21% | 16–48% | +2.1% | |
| #3 | 0% | 0% | +0.3% | |
| #4 | 0% | 0% | +0.0% |
- Why Gnome: mana. 73% of our healing fights run out of mana before the boss dies, and the Gnome has the most of it.
- If MP5 on gear pays every second in WoW Forever, mana stops mattering and it's nearly a coin flip: Gnome 52%, Human 48%. We test it on launch day.
- How much it matters: about 3.4% more healing. Pick what you love.
How we do it
- Our own model, from the game files. Spells, talents and racials are read from the newest WoW Forever build (now 1.60.1.70450). Nothing is copied from a guide.
- 10,000 simulated raid fights per spec. Each draws a fight length, a raid, gear, buffs and every game value nobody has confirmed yet, and every race plays every fight.
- The open question, tested on launch day. Each page names the one unconfirmed mechanic that could change its answer, and how we test it.
- Checked against the open simulator. Where we disagree, the page says why.
- Locked before launch, graded after. After 9 December we grade every prediction against our own raid logs.
- Open data. Every result as a file, free to reuse with credit (CC BY 4.0): Shadow Priest (CSV, JSON); Holy Priest (CSV, JSON).
